This 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course is designed to train individuals to
provide immediate First Aid Care for Infants and Children, and the course also includes Adult essential skills in basic life support as they differ from the skills of the infant and child.
This course meets the First Aid requirements of OFSTED for the Early Years Foundation Stage standards, the National Childminding Association, the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and the Department for Children, Schools and Families Surestart guidelines for Paediatric First Aid.
This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage an infant or child that is not breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services. This Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for people working as Nannies, Childminders, Teachers, or in Crèches, Mother and Toddler Groups. Our Training Rooms are in Ipswich Road in Colchester Essex, and there is ample parking and as with all our courses is conducted in a relaxed atmosphere.
