This course is a Basic First Aid Courses for Children and Infants in Essex and surrounding areas. Our First Aid Courses are practical based and we have people travel from Braintree, Chelmsford, Clacton, Colchester, Maldon, Tiptree, Tendring, Sudbury, Ipswich, and surrounding areas in Essex and Suffolk, East Anglia.
This course is a practical Basic First Aid Courses for Children and will help you to deal with serious conditions
and incidents involving children and infants. You will learn
what to do in an emergency and CPR skills specific to this
age group.
This course is ideal for parents, grandparents and guardians
who care for young children and babies. The course covers emergency life support procedures which
deal only with an infant or child casualty
- Communication and casualty care.
- Managing an incident.
- Assessing the scene, protecting yourself the casualty.
- Child and infant CPR.
- Treatment of severe bleeding and an unconscious casualty.
- Treatment of choking in children and infants.
- Course duration - Three hours.

You will be assessed throughout the course and receive a First Aid Certificate. This course is not the 12 Hour Ofsted, Surestart Recommended First Aid Course for Childminders, and people that work within the Child Care industry.
