Workplace regulated first aid training courses in Essex

Workplace First Aid Requirements

It is a legal requirement for every company to provide adequate and appropriate first aid cover for their work force and the cover provided must be suitable, as shown by the recommendations of your company workplace risk assessment.

We offer two levels of first aid training at our training facility in Colchester, one day and three day first aid training programmes, which will help you meet and stay compliant with the HSE workplace first aid requirements.

The level 2 one day emergency first aid course is conducted over 6 contact hours and covers primary care subjects. This course is ideal for the lower risk workplace, but is also ideal for additional first aid cover for staff members holding a valid and up to date three day first aid at work certificate.

The level 3 first aid at work course is conducted over 18 contact hours and covers primary and secondary care subjects and is ideal for higher risk workplaces, for example building sites and the construction industry, site managers, who have many workers under their supervision, companies with moving machinery and hot working environments.

We run both of these workplace first aid courses in Essex at our training facility in Colchester on a regular basis each month and our training facility has easy access from Chelmsford, Braintree, Clacton on Sea, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Romford and all surrounding areas.
